Senior Social & Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead and manage the social and community presence for the ACE® and SFC® brands, including strategy setting, hands-on execution, and overseeing the social function across the portfolio as deputy to the Sr. Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coach Social & Community Manager team members with 1:1s, goals, and growth
- Own the social and community operating model across four brands including governance and crisis protocols
- Lead strategy, OKRs/KPIs, and consolidated reporting for the social function
- Manage social agency relationships, budget, and tooling decisions
- Align brand voice and community with EU marketing counterparts
- Represent social and community in leadership and cross-functional teams; deputize Sr. Marketing Director
- Plan and execute social presence on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Maintain publishing calendar and campaign timelines with relevant teams
- Capture, edit, and produce branded photo and video content
- Draft captions and copy reflecting brand voice and driving engagement
- Track trends, test content formats, and provide recommendations
- Develop content strategy aligned with brand and business goals
- Build and maintain content calendars tied to launches and campaigns
- Apply research, data, and basic SEO principles to content planning
- Identify, pitch, and manage influencer and brand partnerships; run campaigns end to end
- Review partner content to ensure brand standards compliance
- Build and nurture online communities including real-time engagement
- Engage with communities in person to build relationships and content
- Develop presence in industry-specific networks and events such as trades, safety conferences, and job sites
- Run social listening and report insights to Brand and Product teams
Requirements
- Background in footwear, apparel, or consumer brand; strong preference for brand footwear
- Proven ability to grow social channels, build engaged communities, and create high-performing content
- Hands-on experience with social scheduling, analytics, and influencer tools (e.g., Sprout, Later, AspireIQ, Tagger, Statusbrew)
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and project management skills with ability to set quality standards
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and mobile video editing; portfolio required
- Ability to maintain distinct brand voices for two brands without overlap
- Comfort representing brands in person at trade shows, industry events, and jobsites; willingness to travel
- Experience managing or mentoring social or content teams
- Bonus: Brand footwear or safety/workwear experience
- Bonus: B2B/enterprise community building or field/event marketing experience
- Bonus: Existing relationships in trades/industrial, EHS, or enterprise safety networks
