Manager, Digital Community Engagement - Job Summary
The Manager, Digital Community Engagement will shape, grow, and sustain LBBC’s digital community, managing the online platform and leading engagement and social listening efforts across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evolve digital community engagement strategy across platforms with Flourish as the primary hub
- Moderate and engage in community discussions fostering a welcoming, supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment
- Monitor trending topics and new ideas across social media platforms including Flourish, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, and others
- Collaborate with Educational Programs, Special Events, and Outreach teams to connect in-person experiences with digital communities
- Serve as subject matter expert on Flourish and Mighty Pro, advising on platform features and capabilities
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and a fresh approach to problem solving
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years moderating large, diverse online communities; cancer or healthcare communities preferred
- Creativity and proactive approach to moderation and engagement
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Mighty Networks preferred
- Experience with community engagement on Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and TikTok
- Familiarity with Sprout Social is a plus
- Genuine interest in healthcare, patient advocacy, and/or oncology
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
