Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research activities in compliance with federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice.
• Review medical charts and databases to assess participant eligibility.
• Recruit and pre-screen research participants through documented communication.
• Maintain participant retention via calls, emails, and texts.
• Coordinate scheduling of research appointments with coordinators and providers.
• Communicate with Principal Investigator and sub-investigators regarding patient care.
• Complete source documentation and case report forms in accordance with SOPs.
• Document patient care activities in electronic medical records and databases.
• Respond to queries from sponsors and regulatory agencies under direction.
• Maintain study logs and regulatory binders as directed.
• Assist with specimen transport and other administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality, informed consent, and ethical guidelines.
• Escalate complex issues to Director or PI as needed.
• Generate and submit research-related media and newsletter updates.
• Act as community liaison for research department and community advisory board.
• Coordinate targeted outreach strategies and review outreach materials.
• Facilitate inter-departmental media collaborations.
• Promote integration of digital/virtual recruitment and support services.
• Establish and maintain professional, culturally competent relationships.
• Address participant feedback and report accordingly.
• Report protocol deviations, patient complaints, and incidents as required.
• Assess and report safety and facility issues.
• Collect and report data for quality improvement and compliance.
• Comply with training, meetings, and organizational events.
• Uphold legal and regulatory compliances and support organizational mission.
