Social Media Coordinator - Job Summary
Coordinate and manage social media content and community engagement to grow Lori's Natural Foods' online presence and strengthen its relationship with the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others
- Plan, create, and schedule content using a content calendar and social media management platforms
- Monitor social media activity, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages professionally and promptly
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content ideas
- Capture photos and videos highlighting store products, events, employees, and local vendors
- Create email marketing campaigns and promotional email blasts
- Collaborate with leadership and external marketing consultants to promote store initiatives and ensure consistent branding
- Track engagement metrics and recommend growth strategies
- Support community outreach including donations, sponsorships, partnerships, and local events
- Help strengthen relationships with customers, local organizations, farmers, and community partners
- Assist with additional marketing and promotional projects as needed
Requirements
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices
- Experience creating engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and email marketing
- Experience using content scheduling or social media management platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative skills in photography, video, and storytelling
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external marketing partners
- Community relations, public relations, nonprofit, or donation coordination experience is a plus
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.) is a plus
