Community Manager - Job Summary

The Community Manager will activate and empower Askable's global network of researchers to become Ambassadors, driving community engagement, content creation, brand promotion, and event facilitation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver bi-weekly info sessions with engaging content and follow-up materials
  • Build and moderate communities on Slack, Discord, and Reddit
  • Execute webinars, virtual workshops, and in-person meetups to showcase expertise and drive engagement
  • Scout and qualify influential researchers and implement training systems for onboarding
  • Support content and events through researcher relationship management
  • Identify and qualify leads from community activities and facilitate introductions to sales team
  • Build scalable processes for incentive management, payment distribution, and merchandise fulfillment
  • Monitor engagement metrics and iterate on initiatives based on feedback
  • Partner with marketing teams to amplify campaigns through the researcher network
  • Develop case studies, blog posts, and success stories demonstrating researcher achievements
  • Gather and synthesize community insights for product and strategic development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years experience in community management or similar roles
  • Experience building and activating professional communities, preferably in UX, design, or tech
  • Proven track record recruiting, training, and empowering ambassadors or influencers
  • Strong event management skills for both virtual and in-person events
  • Ability to create and guide content to drive brand awareness
  • Familiarity with grassroots marketing and growing brand presence in target markets
  • Skills in relationship management and coordinating incentives and payments
  • Experience analyzing community engagement data to optimize initiatives
  • Confidence in public speaking and facilitating sessions, webinars, and live events
  • Emotional maturity and ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Independence, curiosity, problem-solving, and proactive goal responsibility
  • Growth-focused mindset and ability to quickly learn product solutions
