Senior Social & Community Manager - Job Summary
Leads the social and community presence for ACE® and SFC® brands, setting strategy, managing teams, overseeing content and campaigns, and representing the social function across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coach Social & Community Managers including 1:1s and performance goals
- Own social and community operating model across four brands including governance and publishing cadence
- Lead strategy, OKRs/KPIs and consolidated cross-brand reporting for social function
- Manage social agency relationships and social budget/tooling decisions
- Partner with EU marketing to align brand voice and adapt model regionally
- Represent social and community function in leadership and cross-functional forums; deputize Sr. Marketing Director
- Run end-to-end social media presence for ACE and SFC brands on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
- Manage publishing calendar, campaign timelines, and create/edit brand-tailored photo and video content
- Draft captions and copy, track trends, test formats and recommend improvements
- Plan and build content calendars aligned to brand and business goals using research and data
- Apply SEO basics to social and owned content where relevant
- Identify, pitch, and manage influencers and brand partners for launches and ongoing collaborations
- Run influencer campaigns including outreach, seeding, approval, tracking and reporting
- Build and nurture online brand communities through engagement of comments, DMs and UGC
- Engage with community face-to-face at industry events, trade shows and jobsites to build relationships and credibility
- Run social listening and provide insights to Brand and Product teams
Requirements
- Background in footwear, apparel, or consumer brand, preferably brand footwear
- Proven ability to grow channels, build engaged communities, and produce high-performing content
- Hands-on experience with scheduling, analytics, and influencer tools (e.g., Sprout, Later, AspireIQ, Tagger, Statusbrew)
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and project management skills setting quality standards for the team
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and mobile video editing; portfolio required
- Ability to manage two distinct brand voices without blurring them
- Comfortable representing brands in person at trade shows, industry/EHS events, and jobsites; willing to travel
- Experience managing or mentoring social/content talent
