Community Manager - Job Summary

The Community Manager will launch, grow, and nurture micro-communities through online and in-person activities, focusing on engagement and collaboration among fellows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch, grow, and nurture fellow-led thematic and identity-based micro-communities.
  • Manage engagement on the online community platform Circle and organize some in-person activities.
  • Think strategically about the growth and transformation of micro-communities.
  • Execute plans and engage with volunteers for a consistent and positive community experience.
  • Identify, coach, and empower potential community leaders.
  • Build relationships and foster collaboration within communities.
  • Balance online and in-person engagement to strengthen connections.

Requirements

  • Strategic and hands-on leadership skills to manage community growth and operations.
  • Passion for community development and ability to coach leaders.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Availability to work 10am to 6pm to meet organizational needs.
