Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager will launch, grow, and nurture micro-communities through online and in-person activities, focusing on engagement and collaboration among fellows.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch, grow, and nurture fellow-led thematic and identity-based micro-communities.
- Manage engagement on the online community platform Circle and organize some in-person activities.
- Think strategically about the growth and transformation of micro-communities.
- Execute plans and engage with volunteers for a consistent and positive community experience.
- Identify, coach, and empower potential community leaders.
- Build relationships and foster collaboration within communities.
- Balance online and in-person engagement to strengthen connections.
Requirements
- Strategic and hands-on leadership skills to manage community growth and operations.
- Passion for community development and ability to coach leaders.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
- Availability to work 10am to 6pm to meet organizational needs.
