Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary

Responsible for managing Northwestern Mutual's organic social media presence, including planning, publication, engagement, and performance reporting across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage posting cadence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and Advocacy.
  • Collaborate with strategists, copywriters, designers, external agencies, and compliance for content creation and vetting.
  • Engage with inbound comments to help customers find answers.
  • Drive daily social posting schedule using Sprinklr.
  • Use social listening to identify untagged brand mentions and real-time marketing opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on community management efficiency of social content and campaigns.
  • Relay customer feedback insights from online conversations to internal partners.
  • Work with social media managers to generate new ideas for social content.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, or content marketing.
  • Experience managing social channels for business or agency clients.
  • Proficiency in Sprinklr or similar social media management tools.
  • Experience in Financial Services or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Skills in adaptive communication, channel management, and KPIs & metrics.
