Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary
Responsible for growing and engaging the audience across social platforms, amplifying content, and building The Block's presence as a leading voice in crypto through strategic social media and community management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive cross-platform social strategy
- Share highlights from research and reporting with major media
- Develop and maintain content calendar for releases and announcements
- Grow crypto-interested followers and drive engagement
- Repackage and publish editorial, research, and video content on social channels
- Cultivate an active community via responses, live interactions, and user-generated content
- Track engagement metrics and compile monthly reports with insights
- Monitor trends and produce timely, relevant posts
- Collaborate with editorial teams to optimize content formats for social media
- Coordinate giveaways, collaborations, and cross-promotions with crypto creators and brands
- Monitor and manage reputation, addressing misinformation in coordination with editorial and leadership
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in social media and/or community management, preferably in crypto, media, or tech
- Deep understanding of crypto culture and platforms (Twitter, Discord, Telegram)
- Proficiency in social content creation including headlines, memes, captions, and short-form video
- Strong communication skills and confident brand voice
- Experience using analytics tools and performance dashboards
- Excellent organization and self-motivation in a fast-paced remote environment
