Social Media Manager - Job Summary

Responsible for developing and executing a strategic and creative social media presence to build engagement, community, and advocacy that positions Centegix as a trusted voice in safety and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and daily execution across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of engaging social content in multiple formats including video, carousels, graphics, stories, and live coverage
  • Build and manage monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, events, and industry trends
  • Monitor engagement, brand sentiment, and represent company voice authentically
  • Cover tradeshows, conferences, customer visits, and events with live social content
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics
  • Build and manage a champion community of customers and advocates
  • Develop and scale customer and employee advocacy programs
  • Create community programming including spotlights, peer conversations, polls, and campaigns
  • Collaborate with content, video, creative, and demand generation teams to support campaigns and social amplification

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years managing brand social media channels and digital communities
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific social strategies on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X
  • Proven success building or managing online communities and advocacy programs
  • Excellent writing and communication adaptable by platform and audience
  • Experience creating short-form video and social-first content
  • Proficiency with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite)
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing social performance metrics
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives
  • Self-starter capable of building processes and strategies from the ground up
  • Experience leveraging AI tools in content and marketing workflows
  • Preferred experience in B2B marketing, education, healthcare, safety, SaaS, or mission-driven industries
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, advocacy, or community platforms is a plus
  • Basic video editing skills preferred
  • Experience supporting event marketing, thought leadership, or employee advocacy initiatives preferred
  • Strong personal social media presence and understanding of content trends preferred
