Manage and moderate Mumsnet’s Talk boards by applying guidelines, engaging with users, and handling reports professionally in a fast-paced online environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply Mumsnet’s Talk guidelines in response to user reports
- Maintain an active presence on the boards and communicate with users
- Respond to individual reports with care, clarity, and consistency
- Make thoughtful judgement calls in sensitive or fast-moving situations
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- An unflappable, positive, and conscientious approach
- Strong customer service instincts and empathy for users
- High level of computer literacy
- Confidence using social platforms and understanding online communities (especially Mumsnet)
- Previous community management or moderation experience is a plus
