Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager will design, manage, and scale the community support platform from acquisition search through post-acquisition growth, fostering a high-trust alumni network to accelerate business acquisitions and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage pathways to support alumni and community acquisition process, including weekly office hours, resource libraries, deal tracking, and AI tech platforms.
- Develop genuine relationships with alumni and track their acquisition progress to identify and engage stalled activity.
- Design and steward a dynamic, milestone-driven online community platform for peer learning, collaboration, and support.
- Develop and manage resource ecosystems, maintain partnerships, and integrate partners into structured programming.
- Design and host monthly virtual sessions, workshops, and targeted programming aligned to acquisition milestones.
- Track and report metrics on alumni activity, deals closed, participation, resource use, and peer engagement.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in community management, alumni success, founder support, or ecosystem building.
- Builder mindset with ability to create structure and not just manage events.
- Strong operational instincts to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and intervene early.
- Exceptional relationship-building and facilitation skills.
- Experience managing multiple initiatives in a growing organization.
- Familiarity with CRMs, project management, and analytics platforms.
- Comfort learning and applying new tools including AI for efficiency.
- Deep understanding of wealth gap impacts and socioeconomic nuances.
- Strong belief in entrepreneurship as a pathway to economic mobility.
