Recovery Coach - Job Summary
Provide remote peer support and recovery coaching utilizing certification and personal recovery experience to help clients achieve sustainable recovery goals, with occasional in-person community engagement in New Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one peer support and recovery coaching via phone, video, and digital platforms
- Empower clients to set, pursue, and achieve recovery goals through personalized action plans
- Create safe, supportive spaces for clients to share experiences without judgment
- Facilitate remote peer support groups to foster community connection
- Help clients navigate treatment, healthcare, and recovery resources in New Hampshire
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and ensure clinical and regulatory compliance
- Offer practical support in life skills, employment, financial management, and social support
- Participate in local events, outreach, and recovery networks in New Hampshire several times per year
- Use AI-powered medical records and telehealth platforms to enhance client engagement
- Collaborate with clinicians and counselors for coordinated recovery approaches
Requirements
- CRSW or CPSS certification required
- Must reside in New Hampshire
- Personal experience in recovery with empathetic, judgment-free support
- Proven experience providing peer support or recovery coaching
- Knowledge of local treatment, recovery, and community resources
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills virtually and in-person
- Comfort with telehealth, AI systems, and electronic medical records
- Self-motivated with strong time management and ability to work independently
- Willingness to participate in occasional in-person community engagement
