Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead community engagement and player support for FATE: Reawakened across various gaming platforms, fostering an engaged player base and ensuring effective resolution of player issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community engagement strategies across Discord, social media, and in-game channels
- Create and manage engaging content such as posts, announcements, AMAs, patch notes, and live events
- Moderate community spaces to ensure they are safe, inclusive, and aligned with brand values
- Monitor player sentiment and provide feedback to publishing, development, and marketing teams
- Organize community-driven campaigns, contests, and events to boost engagement and retention
- Serve as the public representative responding professionally to player questions and feedback
- Provide timely and empathetic customer support via email, ticketing, and social platforms
- Troubleshoot technical, account, and gameplay issues in collaboration with QA and development teams
- Maintain and update support documentation, FAQs, and player guides
- Track and escalate recurring issues to relevant internal teams
- Maintain understanding of platform-specific support processes (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, App Store, Google Play)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community management and/or customer support within the gaming industry
- Familiarity with PC, console, and mobile game ecosystems and their community and support tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Basic understanding of analytics and reporting tools for community engagement
- Passion for gaming and understanding of RPG and fantasy communities
- Player-first approach with focus on transparency and trust
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
