Community Engagement Coordinator - Job Summary

Coordinate and manage community relationships, employee engagement, and educational partnerships to support hospice services and promote a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and network with community leaders and partners to advance hospice services.
  • Document and process community feedback and inquiries, acting as liaison with community and marketing teams.
  • Support community outreach efforts and develop strategies to engage potential customers.
  • Develop effective presentations and activities to meet community needs.
  • Track and report on community engagement goals and outcomes.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee engagement programs, internal communications, and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to manage communication channels and support brand reinforcement.
  • Identify and strengthen educational partnerships with schools and universities, arranging speaking engagements and internship programs.
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Growth Officer and prepare departmental reports.
  • Maintain compliance knowledge and adhere to hospice regulations and organizational policies.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, training, and compliance programs.
  • Exemplify excellent customer service and ethical conduct in all duties.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills with teammates and community members.
  • Ability to work well in a hospice interdisciplinary team, demonstrating conflict resolution and accountability.
  • Customer service leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions with common sense understanding.
