Community Engagement Coordinator - Job Summary
Coordinate and manage community relationships, employee engagement, and educational partnerships to support hospice services and promote a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and network with community leaders and partners to advance hospice services.
- Document and process community feedback and inquiries, acting as liaison with community and marketing teams.
- Support community outreach efforts and develop strategies to engage potential customers.
- Develop effective presentations and activities to meet community needs.
- Track and report on community engagement goals and outcomes.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee engagement programs, internal communications, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing to manage communication channels and support brand reinforcement.
- Identify and strengthen educational partnerships with schools and universities, arranging speaking engagements and internship programs.
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Growth Officer and prepare departmental reports.
- Maintain compliance knowledge and adhere to hospice regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training, and compliance programs.
- Exemplify excellent customer service and ethical conduct in all duties.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills with teammates and community members.
- Ability to work well in a hospice interdisciplinary team, demonstrating conflict resolution and accountability.
- Customer service leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions with common sense understanding.
