Senior Community Engagement Manager - Job Summary
Lead and shape community engagement strategy across innovation ecosystems, building partnerships and improving member experience to support the UK’s technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement a coherent community engagement strategy across programmes, sectors, and regions
- Build and maintain senior relationships with stakeholders including startups, corporates, investors, academia, and public sector partners
- Design scalable community frameworks, playbooks, and engagement models to improve programme outcomes and member experience
- Represent Digital Catapult at industry events, conferences, and ecosystem forums
- Translate data, feedback, and insights into actionable recommendations to improve services and programmes
- Lead or deliver key community initiatives, partnerships, and projects requiring senior ownership
Requirements
- Proven experience leading community engagement or ecosystem-building initiatives, ideally within innovation, emerging tech, or startup environments
- Ability to design and deliver engagement strategies, frameworks, and KPIs
- Strong track record of building and managing senior stakeholder relationships and external representation
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to turn insight into clear recommendations
- Collaborative and proactive leadership approach without formal line management
- Experience using data and feedback to measure community health and drive continuous improvement
