Head Coach - Job Summary

The Head Coach leads studio classes, supports studio success, develops coaching staff, and ensures outstanding fitness and customer experiences, reporting to the Area Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach an average of 11+ classes per week.
  • Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches.
  • Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences.
  • Meet company utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio.
  • Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by the Area Manager.
  • Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build community partnerships.
  • Provide coach development through feedback and support during new coach trainings.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns.
  • Maintain product knowledge regarding studio retail operations.
  • Execute operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and maintaining sales logs.
  • Ensure the studio and equipment are clean and fully functional.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Availability to work approximately 40 hours per week including weekends, holidays, and coach training schedules.
  • Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
  • 1-2 years prior group fitness experience.
  • Strong passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
  • Ability to build relationships and develop teams fostering growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Outgoing and personable with strong client relations and communication skills.
  • Comfortable leading classes with loud music and high energy.
  • Reliable, professional, team player with a positive attitude.
