Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads coaching activities, supports studio success, develops coaching staff, and helps deliver a best-in-class fitness experience while supporting studio operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead as the studio's main coach, teaching 11+ classes per week
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for other coaches
- Deliver an exceptional fitness and customer service experience
- Meet company utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio
- Assist Area Manager with daily studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing to attract new clients and foster community partnerships
- Provide coach development and support new coach training
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns
- Maintain product knowledge for retail operations and promotions
- Perform operational tasks including ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logging
- Ensure studio and equipment are well maintained and functional
- Perform other assigned duties and projects as needed
Requirements
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Desire to help others achieve their fitness goals
- Ability to build relationships and foster team growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with loud music
- Strong client relations and communication skills
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office (Excel, Google Sheets)
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and variable schedules
