Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead how Malco Automotive and Malco Marine present themselves online by managing social media platforms and building community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with detailers, creators, and shop owners.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage ambassador and micro-influencer programs.
- Engage with the community in comments and DMs as the brand voice.
- Gather community feedback on products, competitors, and trends for internal teams.
- Manage day-to-day social media calendars across multiple platforms for both brands.
- Collaborate with the Content Studio to create and adapt content assets.
- Create reactive content quickly when necessary.
- Write platform-specific captions with authentic brand voice.
- Utilize AI tools to assist with drafting, research, and trend monitoring.
- Analyze engagement data and report performance to marketing leadership.
- Attend brand events to capture and amplify content on social media.
Requirements
- Detailing enthusiast or insider with practical knowledge of detailing techniques and tools.
- 5+ years of experience in social, community, creator marketing, or brand roles with proven audience growth.
- Experienced creator and manager familiar with contemporary social platforms.
- Strong personal opinions and an established playbook for social media strategy.
- Proficient in using AI tools as a marketing asset.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
