Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and optimize social media content and community engagement for clients, create content calendars, compile metrics, and serve as primary client contact to enhance candidate engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft content calendars and schedule content ensuring accuracy and proper tagging
  • Manage community engagement across social media platforms
  • Compile metrics, identify learnings and opportunities
  • Serve as expert on assigned clients maintaining brand voice and client objectives
  • Research clients, competitors, and new prospects to inform strategies
  • Act as primary client contact and respond promptly to client needs
  • Work independently on day-to-day tasks and present content strategies to clients
  • Create or brief on social media assets for clients
  • Assess performance metrics and develop recommendations
  • Ensure adherence to client scopes and manage priorities to meet deadlines
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing communication field
  • 3 years experience with social media platforms or creating social content
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and process feedback productively
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Design skills a plus but not required
  • Strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, analytics and reporting
  • Passion for storytelling and client engagement
  • Energetic collaborator and creative thinker
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and social media tools like Sprout Social
  • Knowledge of paid social, SEO, and SEM preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing communication field
