Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage Blitzed's social media presence and community engagement, working closely with leadership and content teams to build an active, entertaining online community in the crypto casino space.
Key Responsibilities
- Own social media and community strategy and execution
- Manage social channels, focusing initially on X and Discord
- Build and maintain a content calendar covering various content types
- Collaborate with content producer to develop creative assets and repurpose streamer content
- Create reactive posts and replies independently
- Develop a consistent and recognizable brand voice
- Engage with trends and conversations involving players, creators, and industry accounts
- Welcome new members and build relationships with regular community participants
- Develop recurring community activities, events, and giveaways
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date profiles, channels, and community information
- Manage Discord moderation, bots, and permissions
- Route player issues to support and relay recurring feedback
- Coordinate with operations, creator, and product teams on streams, launches and updates
- Track content performance, engagement, and community traffic
- Test new ideas and build processes around successful initiatives
Requirements
- Experience managing social media and communities in iGaming, crypto, or related gaming businesses
- Strong understanding of crypto, casino, streaming, and internet culture
- Ability to create and share engaging meme and humorous content
- Strong written English with the ability to write entertaining, non-corporate content
- Experience building online relationships and encouraging community participation
- Proficiency with Discord moderation, bots, permissions, and social scheduling tools
- Ability to create basic graphics and edit short-form videos
- Good judgment in handling public conversations and sensitive issues
- Commercial awareness beyond follower counts and message volume
- Organized, proactive, and accountable for consistent delivery
- Comfortable with working in a fast-moving early-stage company
