Marketing Community Manager - Job Summary
This role supports community management coverage, primarily on weekends, by engaging with users across digital channels, managing social content publishing, and helping respond to inquiries and incidents in real time. It focuses on maintaining brand voice, supporting rider/community trust, and assisting with crisis communication and escalation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor social and digital media platforms, community inquiries, and press/media inquiries for questions, feedback, and concerns
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries with consistent messaging and tone
- Engage with users to build brand trust, advocacy, and community growth
- Escalate complex or high-risk incidents to the appropriate internal teams
- Collaborate with Rider Support to ensure consistency in customer and community communications
- Own daily publishing across social media channels as needed, aligned with content calendars
- Ensure content is published on schedule and follows brand voice and visual guidelines
- Flag content calendar gaps or scheduling conflicts to the Marketing team
- Monitor published content performance and report engagement trends
- Support incident communication processes and reputation management efforts
- Monitor reputational risks and help execute communication strategies to mitigate crises
- Serve as first point of contact for real-time incident tracking and escalation during coverage shifts
- Provide sentiment analysis and reporting on key trends, risks, and opportunities
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Community Management in a high-growth startup, mobility, tech, or consumer brand environment
- Hands-on experience publishing and managing content across social media platforms such as Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Strong understanding of social media engagement, crisis communications, and incident management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first approach
- Ability to reliably work weekends, including Saturday and Sunday, plus occasional weekday shifts as needed
- Comfortable with high-speed decision-making and escalating critical issues when necessary
- Background in Marketing, PR, or Customer Service is a plus
