Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and engage the gaming community across various social media platforms, act as the voice of the game, and collaborate with internal teams to plan content and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of the game across social media and community platforms like Discord, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
  • Write and publish patch notes, announcements, and event updates.
  • Collect and summarize community feedback for the team.
  • Help organize events, contests, livestreams, and giveaways.
  • Collaborate with marketing and development teams to plan content and campaigns.
  • Moderate community spaces and engage with players and creators.
  • Track community sentiment and flag key issues or trends.
  • Keep internal teams informed on community updates and needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in community management in the gaming industry, preferably for a F2P/MMORPG.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
  • Experience with platforms like Discord, Instagram, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, and social media scheduling platforms (e.g. Brandwatch).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Empathy, patience, and diplomacy in handling player feedback or community crises.
