Community Engagement & Communications Intern - Job Summary
Support DonateLifeAZ Registry efforts by promoting organ and tissue donation through marketing, communications, and community outreach in a part-time internship role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing campaigns and outreach for the DonateLifeAZ Registry and community programs
- Support writing, editing, and distribution of press releases and media materials
- Assist with translations of marketing materials and social media content (for bilingual interns)
- Contribute content for organizational newsletters
- Manage and create social media content to promote relevant programs and events
- Develop social media and marketing plans for upcoming events
- Track media coverage and social media engagement metrics
- Coordinate registry drives with community groups, businesses, and partners
- Support event planning, setup, and breakdown
- Prepare and distribute promotional materials and mailers
- Create graphics, flyers, videos, and other promotional materials
- Support general administrative tasks related to communications and community engagement
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
- Majoring in a communication-related field and in good standing with the university
- 0-6 months of relevant experience
Education
Currently enrolled in a communication-related degree program
