Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads studio coaching activities, maintaining a schedule of 10+ classes per week, supports coach development, assists with daily operations, and promotes the brand and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 10+ classes per week and set coaching standards.
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences.
- Meet individual and studio utilization and retention goals.
- Assist the Area Manager with day-to-day studio operations.
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships.
- Provide coach development, feedback, and support for new coach trainings.
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns.
- Maintain product knowledge of retail operations including packages, promotions, and apparel.
- Execute operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory management, and sales logs.
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds.
- Proficiency with G-Suite and MS Office (Excel, Google Sheets).
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
- Passion for helping others reach their fitness goals and building relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience.
- Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with energetic music.
