Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager will engage, respond, and build relationships with a large global audience across social media and private membership communities, acting as the frontline voice of the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily audience interactions across multiple social media platforms and private membership communities.
- Respond promptly and thoughtfully to community interactions, maintaining brand voice and adding value.
- Monitor online conversations, identify engagement opportunities, and manage reputational risks.
- Moderate private communities to ensure safe and inclusive spaces.
- Partner with customer service to resolve audience inquiries.
- Coordinate post scheduling, comment monitoring, and engagement follow-up.
- Manage daily content-driven communications including internal briefs and external emails.
- Draft platform-native responses and micro-content to amplify community discussions.
- Track trending topics and audience feedback to provide insights to content and social teams.
- Collaborate with social leads and creators to maintain brand tone and messaging.
- Help develop engagement campaigns to foster loyalty and brand evangelism.
Requirements
- Strong experience in social media community management or digital engagement.
- Deep knowledge of major social platforms and private community platforms like Circle or Discord.
- Exceptional writing skills with attention to tone and brand voice.
- Experience with enterprise-level social media management platforms (e.g., Sprinklr).
- Ability to analyze community metrics and report insights.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
