Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads coaching at the studio, delivering best-in-class fitness classes, supporting team development, and assisting with studio operations to drive studio and company success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 8 classes per week and serve as the studio’s lead coach.
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches.
- Deliver exceptional fitness and customer service experiences consistent with company standards.
- Meet individual and studio utilization and retention goals.
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by the Area Manager.
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build community partnerships.
- Provide coach development through feedback and support during new coach trainings.
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns.
- Maintain product knowledge for retail operations including packages, promotions, and apparel.
- Perform routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and maintaining sales logs.
- Ensure studio and equipment cleanliness and functionality.
- Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time with flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds.
- Proficiency with g-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
- Optimism, hard work, and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
- Passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals and building relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment.
- 1-2 years of prior group fitness coaching experience.
- Outgoing and personable with strong relationship-building skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Comfortable leading high-energy classes with loud music using a microphone.

- Strong client relations and communication skills.
