Outreach and Community Manager - Job Summary
Responsible for building, managing, and engaging a community of producers around sustainability and climate action in film and television through education, collaboration, and outreach campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Guild leadership on sustainability initiatives and strategic planning
- Design and execute outreach and engagement campaigns for sustainability tools and programs
- Develop and launch the Guild's Sustainability Tool Kit
- Write and provide sustainability content for marketing and communications
- Coordinate and attend stakeholder meetings and industry convenings
- Build and maintain partnerships with sector stakeholders
- Create a calendar of sustainability engagement opportunities for members
- Manage external contractors and vendor relationships
- Ensure programs and events follow sustainable best practices
- Monitor and update sustainability resources and microsite content
- Manage sustainability messaging at key Guild events
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant project management experience in film and television events
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks like Green Production Guide and albert
- Understanding of entertainment industry networks related to producers
- BA or MA/MS degree in relevant fields
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong project management and attention to detail
- Experience in coalition-building and multi-party stakeholder communication
- Diplomacy to navigate competing interests
