Senior Fitness Community Manager - Job Summary
The Senior Fitness Community Manager is responsible for managing and growing the Live 2 B Healthy fitness program across the West Denver Metro area by overseeing trainers, scheduling classes, and building relationships with senior communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage master class schedule across client locations
- Assign trainers and arrange qualified substitutes to prevent disruptions
- Ensure trainers are certified and compliant with standards through site visits and observations
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new trainers with initial training coordination
- Serve as the main contact for class times, schedule changes, and trainer assignments
- Monitor trainer performance and facilitate continuing education
- Fill in as backup instructor to maintain class continuity
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner communities
- Monitor program success metrics, ensure service quality and issue resolution
Requirements
- Experience in fitness instruction, personal training, or group exercise management
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple trainers and community relationships
- Current nationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Active insurance coverage
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
