Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage community engagement and brand reputation across social platforms including Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Threads, with a focus on authentic interactions and community building.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with consumers across multiple social platforms.
- Build and grow trusted communities, especially on Reddit.
- Write authentic, platform-appropriate responses using brand voices.
- Monitor social conversations, trends, sentiment, and emerging issues.
- Use social listening tools to identify customer insights and engagement opportunities.
- Support organic social publishing and real-time community engagement.
- Develop social playbooks and engagement guidelines.
- Respond to customer questions and escalate service or sensitive issues as needed.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Customer Care, and agencies to support community and brand reputation.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in community management, organic social, or social media management.
- Hands-on experience with Reddit and community engagement on Reddit.
- Experience engaging consumers on behalf of a brand.
- Strong knowledge of Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Threads.
- Experience with social listening tools such as Sprinklr.
- Strong writing skills with ability to adapt brand voice for different platforms and audiences.
- Experience monitoring social sentiment, trends, and emerging issues.
- Good judgment handling customer concerns and escalation decisions.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, regulated industries, or consumer brands is a plus.
