Community Engagement Specialist - Job Summary
The Community Engagement Specialist will lead marketing efforts to build and nurture online communities in the South Korea market, promoting client engagement, loyalty, and brand advocacy across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community strategies to drive client conversion, engagement, loyalty, and retention
- Ensure consistent messaging and interaction across social media and community platforms including Discord, Telegram, Kakao, and Naver
- Engage actively with clients via webinars and discussions
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and feedback professionally
- Foster a positive, inclusive community environment
- Plan and execute community events, contests, and giveaways
- Analyze community metrics to identify trends and inform decisions
- Use community insights to optimize strategies and enhance client experience
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate community feedback into products and campaigns
- Manage community crises with clear and empathetic communication
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in community management
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years experience in community or social media management or related field
- Passion for gaming, trading, or finance with understanding of client psychology and online communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills emphasizing teamwork
- Strong copywriting skills for creating engaging content
- Proficiency in social media platforms including Meta, X, Instagram, Discord, Kakao, Naver, and Telegram
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in Korean and/or English/Mandarin for South Korea market reporting
- Experience in brokerage or gaming industry is a plus
