Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads the studio by coaching classes, supporting coach development, and assisting with studio operations to ensure a best-in-class fitness experience and studio success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 11 classes per week serving as lead coach
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience aligned with company standards
- Meet utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by the Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development including feedback and support during new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly and effectively
- Maintain product knowledge for retail operations and promotions
- Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Ensure the studio and equipment are impeccable and fully functional
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift/carry minimum 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office (Excel, Google Sheets)
- Optimistic and hardworking with passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passionate about helping others achieve their goals and building relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing and personable with strong relationship-building skills
- Team player with positive attitude
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with loud music
- Strong client relations and communication skills
- Reliability and professionalism
