Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead and grow the social media presence across multiple brands, developing strategies and fostering community engagement to strengthen brand loyalty and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, community growth, and business objectives.
- Manage content planning, publishing, and performance across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging channels.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams and external agencies to produce social-first content that aligns with brand strategy.
- Own and manage the social content calendar including product launches, campaigns, and cultural events.
- Lead social listening to monitor brand sentiment, customer feedback, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
- Manage community interactions by responding to comments and messages in a way that reflects brand voice and builds relationships.
- Stay informed about platform changes, format trends, and cultural moments to inform strategies.
- Partner with Paid Media and Influencer & PR teams to optimize and amplify content.
- Develop and manage community programs that promote brand loyalty, advocacy, and user-generated content.
- Support community events, trade shows, local activations, and experiential marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing brand social media and community programs, preferably in consumer brands or agencies.
- Deep knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Experience building and engaging communities both online and through events or activations.
- Strong brand-building mindset with the ability to create meaningful content that builds brand identity.
- Excellent writing skills adaptable for captions, strategic briefs, and professional communication.
- Comfortable with content calendars, publishing tools, community management platforms, social listening, event coordination, and performance tracking.
- Familiarity with social tools such as Sprout, Later, Dash Hudson, Brandwatch, or similar.
- Strong aesthetic sense and cultural fluency with an understanding of visual storytelling.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers, creators, influencers, dealers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Bonus: Experience in home, lifestyle, or design-adjacent categories.
