Social Copywriter & Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage community interactions and craft engaging B2B/B2C social copy for a major tourism brand, driving engagement and brand advocacy while monitoring sentiment and crises.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day community interactions including comments, direct messages, and mentions
- Create and execute compelling copy for various social platforms from ideation to execution
- Proactively spark and moderate conversations to encourage user participation and foster belonging
- Develop and deliver on-brand copy for social media and community interactions
- Monitor social channels for audience sentiment, emerging issues, and potential crises
- Provide creative and strategic teams with regular feedback and insights from community engagement
- Collaborate with Social Strategist to align community-facing content with brand tone and goals
- Escalate reputational issues as needed in crisis monitoring
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years experience in community management and copywriting
- Deep knowledge of social audiences, platforms, and formats to foster engagement
- Familiarity with diverse online communities across entertainment, internet, and pop culture
- Thorough understanding of social media platforms, community dynamics, and online safety
- Proven copywriting skills with quality control and tone of voice management
- Knowledge of local context and culture for culturally resonant communication
- Highly motivated, energetic, self-starter with creative problem-solving skills under pressure
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
