Social Media Manager - Job Summary

Responsible for managing social media channels and community engagement for Jonathan Adler, collaborating with creative and marketing teams to deliver consistent and compelling social content from the Soho office location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily publishing across Jonathan Adler's social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
  • Maintain social content calendars and coordinate timely execution of campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Collaborate with Director of Brand Creative and marketing leadership to develop on-brand content
  • Write, edit, and publish engaging social copy appropriate for each platform
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries
  • Monitor social conversations to identify opportunities for engagement and community building
  • Support content creation including briefing, shoot coordination, and asset management
  • Track and report on social channel performance and engagement metrics
  • Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and best practices
  • Maintain organized archives of content, assets, and reports

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of social media management experience for brands or lifestyle companies
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn and social media best practices
  • Experience managing content calendars and multi-channel publishing
  • Ability to build and engage online communities
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Collaborative and able to work within brand guidelines
  • Analytical skills and familiarity with social media reporting
  • Knowledge of design, interiors, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands
  • Basic willingness to learn AI tools and workflows
