Social Media Manager - Job Summary

Lead the development and execution of social media and community engagement strategies to elevate brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support rapid growth in a dynamic car wash company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms tailored to Texas customers.
  • Maintain consistent, authentic brand voice reflecting core company values.
  • Manage community engagement by responding to social media interactions and fostering positive relationships.
  • Plan and execute creative social media campaigns and partnerships including influencer collaborations.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop a year-long social media content strategy aligned with brand and sales goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams on local events, sponsorships, and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and lead adoption of new technologies.
  • Produce or coordinate high-quality visual content with design teams.
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns targeting Texas demographics.
  • Use project management and marketing tools to coordinate and optimize campaigns.
  • Partner cross-departmentally to support business objectives and expand locations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and mentor junior team members.
  • Attend industry conferences to network and stay informed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years social media management experience in consumer-facing brands, preferably car wash or retail.
  • Proven content creation skills across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Photoshop (preferred), Meta Ads, Google Ads, HubSpot, Rinsed, SMS, and email marketing tools.
  • Strong analytical skills for measuring and optimizing campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft a Texas-centric voice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with community leaders and staff.
  • Deep understanding of the Texas market and culture.
  • Creative, organized, curious, detail-oriented, strategic problem solver with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns, metrics, and use of relevant tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
