Head Coach - Job Summary
Lead coach responsible for delivering fitness classes, supporting studio operations, and developing coaching staff to ensure a best-in-class experience and drive studio success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 10 classes per week serving as the studio’s lead coach
- Set performance expectations and role model qualities for new and existing coaches
- Deliver exceptional fitness and customer service experience consistent with company standards
- Meet utilization and retention targets individually and for the studio
- Assist Area Manager with day-to-day studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development through feedback and support during new coach trainings
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns
- Maintain product knowledge and support studio retail operations
- Perform routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies and conducting inventory
- Ensure studio and equipment remain clean and functional
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time with flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency with G-Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals and building relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing and personable with strong client relations and communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional reliability
- Comfortable leading classes with a microphone in a high-energy environment
- Ability to embody and represent the [solidcore] brand and culture
