Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and build authentic relationships within the NYC gym training community to support brand growth and community engagement for R.A.D®.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Director of Community & Partnerships to execute US community strategy focused on NYC
- Build and maintain genuine grassroots relationships with coaches and the training community
- Develop partnerships within gym training spaces to enhance brand credibility
- Host community members and ensure strong brand connections
- Visit gyms and training events regularly across CrossFit, functional training, and Hyrox
- Recruit and manage the R.A.D® Coaching Team in NYC, maintaining regular contact
- Support coaching team members personally and collaborate on events
- Create activation opportunities for R.A.D® Training Team and athletes
- Manage product seeding aligned to strategy
- Support larger R.A.D® events as needed
Requirements
- Deep roots in NYC gym training community including CrossFit, functional fitness, or Hyrox
- Passion for sport, training, and related culture
- Experience in community management, brand partnerships, or grassroots marketing
- Strong relationship-building skills with authentic connection ability
- Self-motivated and highly organized with remote work capability
- Clear communication and brand representation skills
- Understanding of genuine community dynamics beyond marketing
