Community Operations Manager - Job Summary
The Community Operations Manager will develop and execute strategies to engage and nurture a vibrant tutor community, collaborating internally to support Cosmo's growth as a premier online tutoring platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to engage tutors and enhance educational quality
- Lead execution of tutor community strategies and manage operating metrics
- Define and nurture tutor community culture and feedback channels
- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to support company growth
Requirements
- Proven experience in growing and managing communities for a marketplace, ideally 500+ members
- Strong relationship-building skills and understanding of community needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for large audiences
- Entrepreneurial attitude suited for early-stage startup environment
- Passion for education and preferably experience in education or edtech
- Proficiency in using the Circle community platform or ability to quickly learn it
- Curiosity for new technologies and ability to inspire community engagement with new features
