Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads the studio's coaching team by delivering eight classes per week, providing coach development, supporting studio operations, and fostering client relationships to drive studio success and embody the [solidcore] brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of eight classes per week serving as lead coach
- Set expectations and serve as role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Meet company utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and community partnerships
- Provide coach development, including feedback and support during new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly
- Maintain product knowledge for retail operations including class packages and promotions
- Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment remain clean and fully functional
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible and variable availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, specifically Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Strong relationship-building and team development skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing and personable with desire to build community relationships
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Comfortable leading high-energy classes on a microphone
- Ability to model [solidcore] brand and culture as lead representative
- Superior client relations and communication skills
