Community Marketing Manager - Job Summary
Responsible for strategizing, implementing, and coordinating community campaigns to enhance brand awareness and engagement while building and nurturing relationships with the melin community and influencers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage melin Fam including Tier 1 brand ambassadors and community network
- Act as primary contact for melin Fam and their management teams ensuring alignment with brand campaigns
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects aligning with melin's core values and activities
- Identify brand content opportunities and coordinate projects with Creative and Content teams
- Lead community strategy including grassroots programs, events, seeding, and ambassador management
- Develop and oversee community initiatives and events to build brand awareness and loyalty
- Coordinate talent sourcing for photoshoots in collaboration with Content Manager
- Work cross-functionally with Ecomm, Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to achieve KPIs
- Develop and manage seeding programs for each distribution channel
- Track and report on ROI of community activations and marketing programs to ensure KPIs
- Develop and share best practices and guidance for ambassadors and influencers
- Manage vendor set-up, contracts and payment processing in partnership with Accounting and Executive teams
- Track and analyze social posting impact by melin Fam, influencers, and community
- Create and share monthly impact reports highlighting key insights
- Identify new athlete and community partnership opportunities
- Provide community feedback and updates at relevant meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 5+ years sports marketing or community marketing experience
- Ability to travel up to 65% domestically and work weekends/events
- Experience in athlete management and event activation
- Extensive contacts with influential people in relevant sectors
- Experience producing and executing marketing campaigns around events and community
- Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
- Preferred experience with Asana
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking skills
- Professional yet sociable demeanor
- Willingness to work in various outdoor activities related to melin’s verticals
- Strong initiative and self-driven
- Ability to work independently
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
