Digital Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead the launch and growth of a next-generation digital community platform by managing platform health, engagement programming, and member success while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Community Programs Manager to relaunch and evolve the digital community experience
- Administer community platform ensuring performance, member experience, and growth
- Develop and maintain long-term platform roadmap including regional and audience-specific expansions
- Manage vendor relationships and platform development initiatives
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless digital ecosystem integration
- Track and report community performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Establish and enforce community moderation policies
- Oversee member support and ensure timely resolution of inquiries
- Build and manage community programming calendar and design engagement initiatives
- Drive community growth and retention through creative strategies
- Improve group creation and activation workflows
- Serve as community liaison across teams and establish feedback loops
- Design and launch automated Subject Matter Expert (SME) program
- Build strategies for SME recruitment, onboarding, and engagement
- Host quarterly SME networking meetups
- Assist with community-related events including quarterly in-person gatherings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- 3–4 years in community management, digital program management, or B2B customer marketing
- Hands-on experience with community platforms like Higher Logic, Bevy, or Khoros
- Experience in platform administration and vendor management
- Ability to design scalable, automated engagement programs with measurable impact
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Highly organized with a data-driven approach to engagement tracking and program improvement
- Comfortable engaging directly with community members
- Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or construction technology environments is a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
