Director of Community Engagement - Job Summary
Responsible for building and strengthening community and stakeholder relationships, leading fundraising efforts, and managing special projects to advance the mission and vision of FCHC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to engage community and stakeholders to increase organizational support and utilization of services.
- Build and maintain community partnerships and enhance organizational reputation.
- Support partnerships with educational institutions for student education and patient care.
- Lead fundraising efforts including annual campaigns and major gift solicitations.
- Manage donor relationships and philanthropy data.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement activities and achieve goals.
- Track metrics and outcomes for engagement and philanthropy.
- Plan and execute special projects and events as directed.
- Support volunteer program development.
- Assist with organizational communications.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently in executing responsibilities.
- Proven success in fundraising, donor development, and relationship management.
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and securing funding.
- Knowledge of resources and stakeholders in FCHC’s service area.
- Ability to travel routinely within and outside the service area.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to model FCHC's mission, vision, and values.
- Strong relationship building, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Fundraising, data management, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
Education
Master’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
