Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage the community function across brand and founder-led platforms, ensuring empathetic, culturally aware engagement that supports brand loyalty, customer care, and reputation management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily community operations across brand, founder, and social channels with management of team workflows and quality standards.
- Coach community managers on tone, escalation, customer care, platform behavior, and cultural awareness.
- Manage community engagement on founder-led platforms with personal and culturally relevant responses.
- Monitor social sentiment, complaints, reputational risks, and support crisis escalation and response planning.
- Utilize community management, social listening, publishing, and reporting tools to track health, sentiment, and insights.
- Partner with customer care to resolve issues and improve the customer journey.
- Identify and develop community-driven content, engagement, and culturally relevant initiatives.
- Project manage creative community ideas connecting online and offline experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years in community management, social media, customer care, digital marketing, or related fields.
- Experience managing or mentoring a small team.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, community behavior, creator culture, founder-led brands, and audience engagement.
- Proficiency with community management, social listening, publishing, or reporting tools.
- Ability to manage escalations, sensitive conversations, and fast-moving social moments.
- Strong skills in reporting, insight generation, project management, and problem-solving.
- Ability to develop and execute creative community initiatives.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Experience in beauty, fragrance, lifestyle, fashion, luxury, entertainment, or consumer brands is a plus.
