Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager is the on-site leader responsible for creating a welcoming studio environment, driving growth, managing operations, and fostering a vibrant community of students, parents, and teachers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming face of the studio, ensuring a positive experience for students, parents, and teachers.
- Manage communication regarding scheduling, policies, and studio events.
- Plan and conduct community events and student concerts.
- Handle new student inquiries and guide families through enrollment.
- Promote the studio using Musicologie’s marketing systems.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of music teachers.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Oversee daily studio operations, including supplies, materials, merchandise, and payment management.
Requirements
- Excitement to help people and belief in music’s power to change lives.
- Leadership skills with the ability to build trust and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills in person, phone, and writing.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with follow-through on projects.
- Experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems.
- Availability to work afternoon and evening hours and occasional weekends.
