Social Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and grow online communities around Visional Pop's character brands, acting as their voice and fostering global fan engagement across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and grow vibrant online communities across social media platforms, forums, and digital channels
  • Foster a positive and inclusive community environment to encourage participation
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies in line with brand objectives
  • Identify and engage key community members, influencers, and brand advocates
  • Curate and manage engaging content including posts, videos, stories, and interactive media
  • Develop content calendars aligned with storylines, product launches, and campaigns
  • Write compelling copy reflecting each character's unique voice
  • Collaborate with creative partners for content consistency
  • Manage daily social media operations across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Discord
  • Monitor discussions, trends, and fan-generated content
  • Respond to community comments and feedback authentically and timely
  • Moderate discussions and enforce community guidelines
  • Track and analyze community engagement metrics and sentiment
  • Provide insights and recommendations to marketing and product teams
  • Generate reports on community performance and campaign effectiveness
  • Organize and host virtual events, live streams, Q&As, and meetups
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns for character launches and partnerships
  • Coordinate fan contests, challenges, and user-generated initiatives
  • Attend industry events and conventions representing the brands

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in social media management or community engagement
  • Proven track record in growing and managing online communities, preferably in entertainment or character brands
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt voice
  • Proficiency with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software
  • Strong understanding of pop culture trends, anime, gaming, and character fandoms
  • Experience with community building and fostering authentic relationships
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent multitasking and project management abilities
  • Cultural sensitivity to global fan cultures and community dynamics
  • Crisis management skills for handling negative feedback professionally

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field
