Community Manager - Job Summary
Responsible for designing and delivering in-person community events across North and Latin America to drive engagement and shape event strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for long-term, recurring community events supporting company priorities
- Plan and execute events ranging from small workshops to large conferences across key cities in the Americas
- Define event goals, OKRs, success metrics, and conduct data-driven postmortems for continuous improvement
- Establish and manage event budgets and timelines
- Manage relationships with vendors and agencies
- Adapt events to regional, cultural, and venue-specific requirements
- Develop and maintain operational standards and playbooks for consistent branding and ambiance
- Maintain high quality throughout event planning, production, and execution
- Demonstrate resourcefulness in decision-making and driving event workstreams to completion
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5+ years of community and event experience
- Comfortable working off-hours, being on-call, and adapting to flexible schedules
- Strong time management, communication, project management, and prioritization skills
- Experience building events within the Web3/crypto industry
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to own projects independently while managing multiple priorities
- Creatively inclined with a strong eye for design and execution
