Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager will engage and grow the global Founders Forum community by managing event guest lists, communications, database, CRM, and onsite event experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and onboard new community members maintaining accurate CRM data
- Compile and curate VIP guest lists for premium events
- Stay updated on tech, business, and political news to identify prospects
- Analyze community database segments to find growth opportunities
- Build and maintain dashboards and provide regular reports
- Write and adapt copy for varied audience segments across platforms
- Manage event registrations including invitations and enquiries
- Create community-facing event materials like FAQs, guest books, and seating plans
- Act as a community ambassador at events ensuring smooth guest experiences
- Conduct post-event follow-up and relationship building
- Contribute ideas for engagement and new event formats
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in community, events or related roles
- Experience working in events
- Experience preparing and presenting research, reports, and data insights
- Aptitude for data analysis and natural curiosity
- Highly proficient writing and creative copywriting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail
- Comfortable using AI tools and generative AI platforms
- Proficiency with data visualization tools and MS Excel/Google Sheets
- CRM experience required; Salesforce or Attio a plus
- Experience with event registration platforms, especially Swoogo
