Marketing and Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage AI community engagement, partnerships, and field marketing to build Pearl's presence and reputation in the AI ecosystem, primarily around the San Francisco Bay Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage deeply on AI-native platforms like X and Reddit, contributing meaningful insights.
- Define and evolve Pearl's voice across social and community channels.
- Attend AI events in the Bay Area to represent Pearl and build relationships.
- Execute event strategies from small activations to large conferences.
- Identify and connect with top AI companies and ecosystem players to drive partnerships.
- Support partnership conversations and convert relationships into opportunities.
- Develop or collaborate on content including social media and thought leadership.
- Translate complex AI capabilities into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with enterprise, product, and leadership teams on go-to-market and positioning.
- Bring insights from the field to inform product and strategy.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge and interest in AI and the AI ecosystem.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Proactive, scrappy approach with ability to operate in ambiguity.
- Experience in community, partnerships, social, marketing, or business development.
- Experience in startups, emerging tech, or ecosystem-driven roles is a strong plus.
