UGC & Community Engagement Specialist - Job Summary
Manage and engage with social media communities for beauty brands by sourcing creators, curating content, activating community engagement, and optimizing paid ads to enhance authenticity and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and select nano and micro-influencers aligned with the brand and create content briefs.
- Curate, manage, and organize user-generated content from the community for brand profiles.
- Convert UGC into performance ads (TikTok Spark Ads, YouTube Shorts Ads, Google Ads) to increase CTR and conversions.
- Activate the community through challenges, giveaways, and branded hashtags.
- Engage by commenting on brand and tagged content across social media to boost audience participation and drive purchases.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience managing beauty accounts, preferably in a digital agency environment.
- Proficient in video production and editing using tools like CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush.
- Skilled in graphic design with Canva or Photoshop for creating visuals and thumbnails.
- Ability to spot trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube including sounds, formats, and challenges.
- Experience in social media copywriting with SEO keywords, storytelling, and persuasive tone.
- Familiarity with community engagement tools for scheduling and monitoring (e.g., Notion).
- Understanding of analytics and reporting KPIs such as CTR, ER, reach, and conversions; ability to extract insights and report weekly to management.
- Basic knowledge of paid ads such as Spark Ads and Shorts Ads, collaborating with PPC specialists.
- Capability in UGC curation and maintaining a content database.
- Strong skills in engagement and moderation to activate community toward conversion.
